Jewish Foundation of Manitoba Supports
RWB Israel Tour 2010

In 1975 the Royal Winnipeg Ballet was the first Canadian ballet company to perform in Israel. To commemorate their 70th anniversary, they are planning a return trip! The Jewish Foundation of Manitoba provided a $10,000 grant in support of the October 2010 trip, which is being planned in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg. RWB will be performing Mauricio Wainrot’s Carmina Burana and Toer Van Shayk’s 7th Seventh Symphony in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa.
