Women's Endowment Fund - Establishing A Fund

Individual funds within the Women's Endowment Fund are established with a minimum initial contribution of $100. Many donors have chosen to honour a special woman in their lives by establishing a fund in their name. All funds are listed in the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba's Annual Report.

The accumulated capital is invested, and the income is distributed annually to Manitoba organizations whose services directly benefit women. Fund assets are professionally managed and earn tax-free income thereby providing more monies for distribution.
Tax-deductible receipts are issued for all contributions.

The Women's Endowment Fund is pleased that some women have chosen to include the Fund in their wills. The Fund has also been the recipient of several charitable life insurance policies. Such gifts provide the means for donors who cannot afford to part with the assets during their lifetimes but wish to make a substantial gift to the Women's Endowment Fund.

Funds are established with a minimum contribution of $100, which can be paid in cash or by credit card, in a single payment or over time. The balance must reach $100 by December 31. A fund can be added to at any time. For a contribution of $18 or more, the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba will send out a beautiful Women’s Endowment Fund personalized donation card on behalf of the donor.
