The Jewish Foundation of Manitoba and Wulfert Tolboom, the husband of the late Wanda Neill Tolboom, presented the Wanda Neill Tolboom Trophy to Camila Aprosoff and Dafna Schultz at the Gray Academy of Jewish Education’s grade 6 farewell ceremony. “Wanda loved teaching and was very dedicated to her students,” says Mr. Tolboom. “Her passion for teaching rubbed off on her students as she was very much loved by them.”

The Wanda Neill Tolboom Trophy is awarded to grade 6 students at the Gray Academy of Jewish Education, who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement in General Studies.

“Establishing the In Memory of Wanda Neill Tolboom Fund at the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba was the best way to leave a lasting legacy to my wife,” says Mr. Tolboom. “It’s what she would have wanted.”
