Since 1976, Canadian Magen David Adom for Israel (CMDA) has been the sole authorized fund-raising organization in Canada dedicated to supplying ambulances, medical equipment, supplies and blood testing kits to support the life-saving efforts of Magen David Israel (MDA). 

In the past two years, the Winnipeg Chapter of CMDA has been able to donate two ambulances to MDA thanks to the generous donations of people throughout Manitoba. This has allowed the Winnipeg Chapter to provide both a physical and emotional lifeline to the people of Israel, to show them Manitobans care, and that the Winnipeg Chapter of CMDA realizes the importance of saving lives.
